| Newbie Rep Power: 10 ![]() | KB Fix saying "Update Does Not Apply To Your System" I am having system lock-ups with my new 8800 GT video card. The nVidia site says to install the latest hotfixes including these two: An update is available that improves the compatibility and reliability of Windows Vista An update is available that improves the performance and reliability of Windows Vista At least one of those articles describes the exact problem I'm having, and when I try to install it is gives a message saying "Update Does Not Apply To Your System". But it doesn't say why. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with the problems this download was meant to fix. (And yes, I'm getting the 64-bit version of everything). Any ideas???? |

Happened to me once, didn't realize it because auto update was on and it already installed that package. Go to add remove programs and it should be there among the list of updates. Chances are, you already have that update. |
