hi,

Are you looking to capture any video by connecting to the computer, if so then first and formost your computer is an advanced computer and will not detect any analog capturing, you need to either use the USB or the Fireware to achive the task. If you do have it then you may use the Muvee autoProducer application if bundled with the computer,

If you are connecting any analog devices like a VCR or VCD player then you may try the below :

you can capture Analog Video by using a third party application, namely PowerProducer from Cyberlink Company. You can verify the details from the below web link.
CyberLink Knowledge Center - Capture your videos and photos with PowerProducer
You can download this software from the below web link, which is trail version and will have certain limitation due to its trail version.
Try Free - CyberLink PowerDirector - Video Editing Tools
As an alternative approach you may connect the VCR, Camcorder and the PC to capture the Video using the preinstalled application. Please visit the web link below for information how to do the same :
Windows Vista Help: Import analog video to your computer by using a DV camera

Check them ........

Hi Headphase,

Have you checked the HP website for your motherboard Vista drivers? Its the only place to get the software you need.
