Re: supports dual monitors?

I had the x1650 Pro and I used it with dual monitors....

I *highly* suggest that you invest in Realtime Soft UltraMon - best investment you'll ever make in terms of being *easily* able to enable / disable the secondary monitor, as well as easily be able to set every thing up - with this (although it is shareware) you'll never need to install the bulky buggy ATI CCC again - just grab the drivers only and the Avivo download (if you want / need that for the x1600) and you're golden.

The Ultramon software has a lot more features than just dual monitor management - it's smart taskbar is a godsend - you can set it to mirror mode, so that all apps appear on both taskbars, or you can set it to 'independent' mode- so that apps on monitor one are only on that taskbar and apps on monitor 2 are only on that taskbar....

It also has a whole slew of other features....

But, again, it is ***not*** free.

I bought it when I had the x1650 Pro to make life easier for me on my severely old machine, and have since bought the 64bit version for Vista 64 bit - works like a champ, even though it is still a 'beta' release for version 3.0....
