Vista - 9600GT full screen/3d gaming gamma issue...

ForceWare 175.80 Full screen 3d gaming resets/ignores my gamma settings... Haven't had that problem in past with ATi x1900xtx card... Gamma settings will work if game is running in window mode, but it hurts the performance of the game, soo i'm looking for a solution... Thanks in advance, Games are: Counter-strike source and Team Fortress 2 OS: Vista x64

Ya, I use steam as well for my games, The Valve games are constantly being updated and that means you have to do the same for your drivers, try getting the newest one for your video card and see what happens. Remember to restart if you install the new one. And go to the manufacturer's website, not windows update. If you have the newest one, just download and install again. Always fixes it for me.

Sorry, On re-read of the post it seems that the problem you speak of is more of a program error. Not saving the settings before changing resolution. Maybe if you re-download them from steam, or at least you can try look for updates for the games from steam.

is the 175.80 a beta driver or WHQL...?
