| Vista Home Premium x64 | Re: NVIDIA slashes price of GTX 260 and 280 GPUs hey guys, I'm building a gaming computer and have a quick question of your opinion on a graphics card choice (regarding the topic of the price drop of the gt 200 series). My initial choice was the XFX 9800 GTX Black Edition (Core clock 760MHz, Memory Clock 2280MHz) Newegg.com - XFX PVT98FYDBU GeForce 9800 GTX Black Edition 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards $209.99 after rebate Then after the price drop XFX GT 260 (Core clock 576MHz, Memory Clock 2000MHz) Newegg.com - XFX GX260NADF9 GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards $299.99 Do you think it's worth an extra $90 to go ahead and get the gt 260? |
