Vista - Opinion on this gfx card.

I was going to upgrade my old computer, but then I decided to just build a fresh one.

There's this graphics card which is:
"1GB Hypermemory ATI RX2600PRO PCI-E Graphics with DX10 Support"

Will this graphics card work well with Vista, and would it be suitable for gaming?

I just picked up that card, and it works very well, it is a middle of the road card for Vista, you will be able to play most games though not at everyting turned up high. One of the good things is that it comes with a DVI to HDMI adapter to you can branch that out to an output and carry full audio through the HDMI, Gives me a 5.1 on the performance index. IF you have the HIS card, an addon cooler this is extremely quiet and moves a huge volume of air out of the case.

That card will work very well with Vista, just don't get super crazy with the graphic options in games, or your performance will slow down. The card has a Realtek HDMI soundchip on it for outputting sound to an HDMI equipped LCD monitor or HDTV with HDMI connector.

I personally own and use the Radeon 3870X2 in my machine.
