Seen some benchmarks and the GTX 280 still performs better in Crysis, so when I see an ATI card out perform Nvidia in Crysis I'll be impressed

Though they still look like nice cards.

Just wait until the 4870X2 gets some decent drivers under it's belt, then we'll really see it fly.

I've got the 3870X2, and it has some pretty decent drivers, but they still need some improvement.

Yea I know, same with any graphics card really. Wait for them to mature a bit and I'm sure it will be up to par with the 280, but then the 280 still needs some improved drivers for it to really shine.

Can your order of the HIS card, HIS has the worst warranty service of all the ATI card manufactuers. HIS won't answer support email, and if your card dies within warranty, they won't honor it, leaving you to get it replaced through the online retailer you bought it from.

Get one made by somebody else.

my mate's cards have arrived ....

lucky man 2x 4870 & a 4870x2

check his 3dmark06 score .....20k+
everything stock except the CPU!!!!!!!!!!!

the card is decent.. but it's not that great Skunk. nice tractor tho. LOL

and the CPU on that pic above is not stock. It's at 3.6 GHz. I got 17k with my CPU at that speed with my SINGLE 260. I bet with a second one I could beat that score. Maybe I'll have to snag a second one.. one day eventually maybe.

hehe. Or John could let me borrow his for a Benchmark. then I'll return it.
