you may need to update halo with the latest patches
Halo®: Combat Evolved (PC)
you laptop only has Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 in theory it should play but not really the best gpu for playing games

Try this:
http://gameadvisor.futuremark.com/ga...sp?gameId=1459

Minimum specs:
Halo
32 MB T&L (texture & lighting) capable video card required
http://www.microsoft.com/games/PC/halo.aspx#sysreqs

Halo 2 for Vista
NVIDIA 6100, ATI X700, or above
http://www.gamesforwindows.com/en-US...dowsVista.aspx

You have a Class 4 GPU-

Barely Games-Capable - Most not fastidious current games can be played fluently. Prepare for reduced graphical persentations due to low detail settings and low resolutions. Still, these cards provide enough performance for office tasks or video viewing (inconclusively for HD videos).

» ATI Mobility Radeon X1300

ATI Mobility Radeon X1300 is one of the weakest graphic cards from ATI of the X1000 series. It hardly can only be used for current games.
350 MHz, 4 / 2 Pixel- / Vertexshader, DX9c | 250 MHz, 128 Bit

Mine did it too, all you have to do is...

Check don't show this again and click continue anyway. And you'll never see it again.

lol, I didn't mean to bust your chops, it's just that there's no magic wand or cute trick that's going to make a video card better; it is what it is and the only way to change your situation is to get a better video card.
