amd athlon 64 x2 dual core 6400+ 3200 Mhz, 2 core, 2 logic processors
vista 64prem
4 gig ram
sapphire4870 x2
650 power

Upgrade:

asus m3a32-mvp deluxe motherboard
Asus M3A32-MVP Deluxe/WiFi-AP w/ DualDDR2 1066, 7.1 Audio, Gigabit Lan, Wi-Fi-AP, 1394, Quad PCI-E CrossFireX at Memory Express Computers
keep 6400+
keep vista
keep 4 gig
add 4870 x2 in crossfire
Sapphire Radeon HD4870 X2 2GB GDDR5 PCI-E w/ Dual DVI, HDTV-Out, HDMI at Memory Express Computers
1000 power
ANTEC TruePower Quattro 1000W Power Supply at Memory Express Computers
add Xonar DX 7.1 pci-e sound card
Asus Xonar DX 7.1 PCI-E Soundcard at Memory Express Computers

Am I doing anything wrong? ANY recommendeations appreciated. I am a gamer, will it totally eliminate any graphics issues? Or are there lots of bugs with crossfire? I am too old to know anything about computers except gaming, thx...

Re: Want to upgrade to Crossfire

1000 not enough, ATI recommends some as low as 650 on their power supply certification page.
