Hi,

I installed Vista 64 Bit SP1. After installing Drivers version 178.13 and rebooting the login screen did not show, and monitor went to standby. There was still the start up sound.

It works fine using the Analog output. With the DVI also attached, i can see the screen in Nvidia control panel and display properties. Trying to activate them here results in "Do you want to keep these setting?" Clicking yes or no takes me back to the screen with no change in setting. Same from display settings.

So far it does not seem possible to get the monitor working over DVI using nvidia drivers in Vista

I don't think it is a hardware problem as
-Works fine with DVI in Windows XP SP3
-Monitor worked ok with old computer(FX5700LE) using XPSP3 over DVI
-Monitor worked ok with old computer(FX5700LE) using Kubuntu 8.04 over DVI

I have tried three driver version
178.13
177.98 (suggested as possibly working)
169.32 (supplied with card)
removing drivers between installs from safe mode and using driver cleaner pro.
