i get an errormsg when i try and play age of empires on my toshiba laptop. it has vista and it says make sure your drivers and graphics cards are compatible with direct draw. any ideas?

Visit the Toshiba website and make sure you have all the latest drivers installed for your particular model. If it still doesn't work after that, it may mean your hardware is not up to running the game.

click start then run and type dxdiag and hit return
look under the display tab , what does it say for direct draw accelertion? and is there anything in the NOTES column at the bottom?
