| Vista Home Premium 64bit | Can't find a driver that works for Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT Hey guys, I got a problem with my GeForce 8600 GT graphics card, I've tried using the one on Nvidias home page, that states in the "http://www.nvidia.com/object/winvista_x64_178.24_whql.html" page... I've tried downloading and installing but I get a message each time that It's the inccorect one.. I have 64bit vista home edittion or something.. Any help would be great |

Any help would be great Its rather unusual that nvidia drivers fail to install, can you check this for me, click start and type in the search bar "dxdiag" and hit enter, does your graphics card show in there under the display tab? and secondly, can you verify that you have windows vista 64 bit, do this by right clicking computer and clicking on properties. heres a few pics to help you out. |

| Vista Ultimate 64bit SP2/ | Re: Can't find a driver that works for Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT DX10 is included with Vista so you have DX10 but if you have a card that is DX9 it will only use DX9. |
