richard89 welcome to the forums.

System specs would help a lot, especially what video card you have. Grab this,

Save a log of the Computer info and post the log back here.

Re: i need help loading tomb raider

Problem is that your laptop is way below the minimum requirements for the game,

Tomb Raider Chronicles - UNDERWORLD PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Quote:
Minimum System Requirements
-OPERATING SYSTEM: Microsoft Windows XP (admin rights required)/Microsoft Windows Vista (admin rights required)
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 3+GHz or AMD Athlon 2.5+GHz
RAM: 1GB (Windows XP) / 2GB (Windows Vista) system memory
GRAPHICS: NVIDIA GeForce 6 series 6800GT (or better) / ATI 1800XT (or better)
SOUND: Direct X 9.0c compatible sound card and drivers
DVD-ROM: DVD-ROM drive
HARD DRIVE: 8 GB Free Space
INPUT DEVICES: Keyboard and mouse
I bolded the important bits, and while it might be able to scrape by with the RAM and CPU there is just no way that it will run on the Intel graphics. Sorry to say but if you want to play that game (or just about any other) you're going to need wither,

1. A new laptop that has a video card/adapter that at least meets the minimum requirements

2. A desktop that meets the requirements.
