| Vista Home Premium x64 sp1 | First vga card in Dell system with Intel Express Chipset. I will be installing a Nvidia FX8500GT into a new Dell with Intel express chipset family g33/g31 and Vista Home Premium x64. Do I need to remove the Intel chipset drivers first? I downloaded the drivers for my new card and system to desktop and am pausing there until further instructed. Card is not physically installed yet either. Thanks beforehand for help. |

It would probably be best to uninstinall the current video drivers under Display Adapters in device manager, shut down, physically install the card, startup and cancel Vista's automatic driver installation so you can install the downloaded drivers. You may also need to disable the integrated video adapter in BIOS |
