2 Monitors listed in display settings
I only have 1 monitor, yet vista display settings always lists as having 2. Only one appears in device manager. Is there a way to remove the second monitor?

Re: 2 Monitors listed in display settings
Your Video card is probably *capable* of running dual displays, such as adding on a projector on a laptop for presentations. Don' worry about it, it is not hurting anything and you cannot get a virus from it, or anything like that.
The mindset from long ago of "I should delete anything that I don't need" is just that - of long ago. That mentality is not nearly as applicable today.
Of course, if you have a *real* reason for needing it to go, I am all ears.
