Vista - Hey guys what grapic card should i buy

Hey guys im going to be getting a new ghrapics card for christmas for around 100-200 anyone know any good card i can get? i play games like css left 4 dead wow tft and stuff like that i play it for a long period of time so ill want a card that runs cool i dont really mind about the brand as long as its not loud as a rocket ship and hot as when the rocket ship takes off im good with it and im from canada and can u guys list 1 or a couple grapic cards for me to choose from

and right now i got the 8500gt and around a 400w power supply im useing a hp computer im planning on change the power supply to the OCZ gameXStream if i just switch the power supply witht he 600w one and switch the grapics card will there be any problems with the mother board and stuff? because i asked the people at hp and they said they reccomoned not to do that but i know alot of people that but computers from bestbuy and just switch the parts with no problem i just want to make sure

There will be no problem with the mobo, but I recommend a 750 to 800 W power supply, so it's more future proof... As for a card I'd go for a 9800GTX or something.. Im getting a 9800GTX+ for christmas...

p.s. this is a pci express 2.0 card. using it on a normal pci express slot only runs it at like half performance just incase you didnt already know that

I have the 9800GTX+ and its a great card but if you are looking for cheaper the 8800GT is still a great card and a good upgrade from the 8500gt. Plus it doesnt take as much power, though I would still recommend a better PSU.

9800GTX+ for sure. But I would recommend eVGA over XFX

I would do a PC Power and Coolin 750W at least for the newer video card.

Those are pretty decent. I really like the ABS Tagan series of power supplies. A bit pricey but well well worth it.

PC Power and Cooling are single rail. Better MOSFets and heavy gauge wiring. For $60 they custom wire them to your specs. Call Tiffney at PC Power and Cooling about it.
