Moniter doesnt recogonize Nvidia 9300GE anymore! instead it says "default moniter"!

hi, i have a problem. i have a 9300GE pci-e card then i put in a FX5200 into the PCI slot and loaded it up. my main 24" monitor connected to the pci-e didnt load but instead my 19" monitor started up. I couldnt get them both to work so i took out the fx5200 and went back to my 24. Only problem now is that it doesnt work properly. when i right click then click personalize and then click display settings my graphic card isnt listed instead it says "default moniter" on. also my previous windows index score was 4.9 with 9300GE and now it's 1.0
any help or advice would be appreciated. im on windows vista home edition 64 bit

any chance you can take a screenshot of your display properties? and possibly a screenshot of your device manager under display adaptor?

it just looks like you need to reinstall your graphics card drivers of which you can get here > Nvidia Graphics driver for 9300GE

i get the nvidia setup error
"the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. setup will not exist."
it then said reinstall with "correct settings" so i hit ok and then it gave me an error saying i was trying to uninstall it with 32 bit drivers when i needed 64 bit

The drivers for 64bit and 32bit are different. Make sure you download the x64 drivers from Nvidea.

yeah this was with the x64 one. the one i tried installing was the one on top and it first gave me the ""the nvidia setup program could not locate any drivers that are compatible with your current hardware. setup will not exist." error. then it asked me if i wanted to install it with the "recommended settings" and that 32bit error popped out even though i was using the x64 bit installer mentioned above.

I know this was a problem with earlier vista drivers from Nvidea, but I thought this had been fixed with the latest drivers? Have you tried installing the drivers using "Run as Administrator"
