I play the sims 2 game. I have all the expansion packs and stuff packs. I also have directx 10...java 10...the most updated video card driver...windows update is completely updated bla bla bla...have all the patches from the sims 2 website as well
2 weeks ago the game worked fine never had a problem and bam now I get *application has crashed. application will now terminate* I've rollbacked drivers...uninstalled things like quicktime...I have basically tried everything ENCLUDING uninstalling all 8 expansion packs and all 7-8 stuff packs and reinstalling everything. STILL problem persist...I've contacted tech support forums specifically designed for sims 2 players with problems and they say it's my video card. Though I don't understand why it can be consider it worked just great 2 weeks ago and bam problems. Also I rollbacked the video card driver and still problem persist. SO now I'm at wits end I don't know what to do...Don't know what could have happened in 2 weeks time and all of the sudden the thing starts crashing...And I don't know what else to do to fix the problem...
Problems and solutions doesn't even have the crash listed...
Event viewer wasn't helpful either. Not much information and the only thing I got from it was *application hanging* or something like that. PLEASE HELP ME IF YOU CAN!
