Multiple Monitor : atikmdag stopped responding then crashed

Hi,

Im having problem connecting my Sony Vaio laptop to my external monitor .

my spec are :
Intel Core Duo T5800 @2Ghz
3Gb Ram
Ati Mobility Radeon 3470

The problem is whenever i extended my screen to the external monitor, it shows atikmdag stopped responding and after a few second it crashed into blue screen.

Any help ?

What was the code on the blue screen? Should be similar to 0x000000A or 0xA.

It appears that your disply driver is having a problem with multi monitors...

Have you tried re-installing drivers/updated to latest drivers? 9.1 Catalyst were released today.

Ok, your code indicates that it could not refresh the display driver. I would recommend an update of your driver to see if that helps.

no luck in updating the driver , i tried downloading it from amd game but seems like i cant installed the driver from the package. Tried updating the c++ but no luck at all
