| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 Windows 7 Ultimate x64 TECHNET | Re: Best GPU on the Planet? It's a matter of opinion. You're always going to have someone say this one is better than the other. There are pros and cons for each Nvidia and ATI card. In other words, neither is. Last edited by Airbot; 01-28-2009 at 11:58 PM.. |

| Vista Ultimate SP2 x64 : Seven Ultimate x64 | Re: Best GPU on the Planet? The new Nvidia gtx 295 is giving ATI's 4870x2 a run for it's money. Also, you have to take into account diffrent companies that realease thier own versions of ATi or Nnvidia reference cards. Some are better than others. As for best in the world? Any of the Top-end cards that are factory overclocked I guess. |

| ultimate 64 SP1 | Re: Best GPU on the Planet? ok..... 4870x2..... great card, if your rig is compatible with it, & the drivers (many are not)...lots of raw power, but needs a lot of power to run, a good solution if playing games which don't support SLI or CFX as this has both the die's on the same card it should utilize them both... do not buy this card for any resolution below 1920x1200GTX295..... now i wanna rave about this card, but i cant at the moment, its either being hindered by the dreaded PCB sandwich stutter, or drivers need more work, b/c these cards are producing CRAP framerates currently this card IS powerful but until they work out the bugs go for the GTX285 or 2x GTX260s for better performance (currently)so sometimes ''buying'' the best wont always ''deliver'' the best..... SK im not saying its a complete washout, i know the card has serious potential, but i've heard more ''independent'' horror stories than good with the 295 thus far the GX2 was the same at launch, but that still has issues to this day....
