My computer runs Vista Ultimate [64 bit] with Media Center. I hope to find a HDTV Tuner card
that will enable me to use my computer as a DVR.

Which HDTV tuner cards are best for my 64 bit computer?

Is there anything out there with a cableCARD slot?

I purchased the Vista x64 HP Digital Expresscard tv tuner (uses hauppauge MCE XP/Vista software encoder/driver) - no complants all all. Comes with all the connections for Cable/digital cable/sat, and even a digital antenae for digital/HD over-the-air broadcasts- and a free MCE remote that also works with POWERDVD 8 Ultra (blu-ray).

MCE is really the DVR though-not the card (live TV autmatically records in 30 minutes cycles, so MCE DVR will allow you to pause/rewind within a 30 min time frame- otherwise, you should just record the program).
