2x 9800GTX+ on vista problem

Hello

I have 2 x 9800GTX+ Nvidia graphic cards installed for the purposes of running 4 monitors.

The problem is Vista is only reading the the driver for 1 card and although it's detected the 2nd card it will no install it a driver saying 1 is already installed.Meaning Vista will not install 2 of the same drives so I can't use the 2nd card.
Or Vista can't run 2 graphic drivers at once.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve the problem please.

PS

I have tried 2 different cards but I get the same problem with the 2nd card.

Did you install the SLI BRIDGE? if so, you must go to Nvidia Control panel and enable SLI. As soon as you do this or after reboot (can't remember), Vista will see the other card and/or you can go back to NCP and set up your monitors.

As ASTA says mate you dont need to install seperate drivers , just enable SLI in your control panel

Hello

Running SLi will disable the 4 monitors factor and this is not an option as it's the only reason I need the 2 graphics cards.Sli will not run 4 monitors as it will disable the 2 monitors on the second card.

I need to run the 4 monitors not increase graphic card performance.

Any other ideas please

Fair enough,

have you enable or setup Dual/Multiple monitor on the Nvidia control panel? I heard the last few drivers from Nvidia support this?

Perhaps going to the Nvidia forums can yield better, or more direct answers for you.

Good Luck
