| Vista Home Premium 32bit | n force????? i have a nvdia 6150se nforce 430. when ever i say that, what is nforce? HP and Compaq Desktop PCs*-* Motherboard Specifications, MCP61PM-HM (Nettle)* that my mobo specs. as u can see i have a pci express open. (what is pci express 2.0, will it work with regular?) if i upgrade, and buy a pci express, do i just plug it in, install driver, what about my intergreated graphic card? it wired... |

Hi kiddieboy, Yes it is backward compatible, Note new in old will be slower Check the Bios to see if you can switch the onboard off Insert the new card, start the PC and install drivers I hope this helps Pooch PS. | Windows 7 x64 | Re: n force????? The integrated graphics usually gets disabled automatically when the computer detects a graphic card in the PCI-E slot. Don't worry too much about newer cards in PCI-E 2.0. It won't be a noticable difference as a lot of cards don't even use all the bandwidth available of a PCI-E 1.1 slot, which means putting them in a PCI-E 2.0 slot won't make much of a difference. |
