| Vista Ultimate 64 | Monitor resolution sets back after reboot. Good Morning All, So far I am very happy with Vista 64, but I have one minor issue. I have done no tuning at this time for game optimization, so it is a stock install. OS drivers are up to date. I am using a 28" Hanspree LCD, which is recognized by name in device manager. I set the resolution to 1900x1200( might be 1920x1200), which is the native or recommended resolution for this monitor. Anyway it will stay on this resolution until I reboot, then it drops back to 1600x1200. Any ideas? I am using a GTX 285 card. I was using the 182.08 drivers, and now using a beta driver 182.46, but same problem. I have searched and searched and have yet to find an answer. Hopefull someone will have an idea. Regards Bob G |

| Vista Ultimate x64 SP1 | Re: Monitor resolution sets back after reboot. I don't know which 28" Hanspree LCD you have but according to this HANNspree's 28-inch 1080p HT09 LCD HDTV comes to America for $500 the native resolution should be set to 1920x1200. Make sure it is set to that and also make sure you install the monitor's drivers. In fact, if you haven't done so, install the monitor's drivers first then set the resolution. |
