graphic cards

i came to a decision. to upgrade. but i didn't know what my power supply was. as it seems it is a hippro 300w power supply. (i think)

i am looking for a ok graphic card. something in the 8-9 series of nvdia. i have a build in card called a nvdia 6150 se n force 430.

so basicly my requirments are the ghx cad uses less than 300w
pci express connection
faster than a 8300gs
under 50$

think you can help me???

is my mobo.

also when i play games like combat arms on low i get around 12-17 fraps. kinda suks

Geforce 9400 cards are in your price range. Just did a quick search on Newegg and they're around $45 to $54. If you look around you might be able to get a Geforce 9500 somewhere for that price.

Both should be a better than what you have now, though.

It's a mid-range budget card. Will perform alright depending on what games you play. Core clock speeds will vary between manufacturers, but you'll be looking at 550MHz and up.

I'm pretty sure the 9500 only comes in the GT flavour, but difference between a GS and GT, for example, the GS might have a few less pixel shaders than the GT and might have lower clock speeds.
