They're the same chip, but the GTS 250 pushes a head slightly. It's a whole new build, so the card itself is smaller and has a thicker PCB which helps keeping it cooler.

Re: 9800 GTX+ or GTS 250?

So should I got with the GTS 250? I am really liking the 9800 GTX+ from XFX and for some reason I like the fact that the GTX+ is bigger idk why though lol. What kind of frame jump would I get with the GTS 250 (fps difference)

thanks

lol....mate, the only way you'll see a difference is with throughput from high res (1920x1200 & above) & even then its only a few frames...... if you play @ 1440x900 these cards ARE IDENTCAL, so go for the GTX+ my friend...

So very true,

Video Card Comparison - GPUReview.com

Just get whichever is cheaper, and/or has the better cooling on it.

Wow they are exactly the same lol. I'm going to go with the GTS 250 because the GTX+ would cover my SATA ports...unless I got a new mobo
