| Vista Home Premium 32bit [x86] - SP2 | Installation; Laptop + Monitor = "No signal"!! To save constant referral to my system specs, this is what I have;
Also no indicators from my notification tray that new hardware has been recognised etc. and drivers installed etc. What gives? Any advice please. You'd think that one Acer would recognise another Acer in the crowd, now wouldn't you? |

Yeah Mate, just got it sussed!! And I was just coming back to announce that fact when I sw your post. You're dead right!! I did this......Click Start [Button or Orb]>Control Panel [Classic View]>NVidia Control Panel>then in Panel - 'Select a Task'>Display>Set up multiple displays. Then select> Restore Defaults. Bingo!! An easier way to access the NVidia Control Panel is to right click an empty space on the desktop, and select it from the drop-down menu. Monitor all fired up again. ![]() I miss my jugged hare! |

| Vista Home Premium 64bit SP2 | Re: Installation; Laptop + Monitor = "No signal"!! to be honest ive had dual monitors now for about 3 days thats why i was a little vague in my description of what to do , i was on the wifes XP laptop and couldnt for the life of me remember how to access the settings ![]() as for dual monitors...........ive NO idea how i manged all these years with only one , its fantastic!! ![]() its just a shame i cant play a fullscreen game and access the second monitor at the same time , god only knows what id do if i could but it would be nice |
