| Vista Home Premiium 32bit | How do I know my graphics card works? Hi all, This is my 1st time on ANY forum so bare with me if I'm a bit vague............ I have been on line trying to figure out how I can check if my NVIDIA 8600 GS graphics card is working or not. I have checked my laptop and it says the device is working OK however I have no signal via my HDMI output (everything is fine on my laptop screen). I have checked my HDMI cable and I am getting a signal through my SKY HD box so I know it's not the cable. I have had other probs with my laptop but all seem to be OK now since I have had Windows reinstalled, however I have just updated my NVIDIA driver but this problem still persists. My laptop does not recognise the HDMI cable is connected as NVIDIA doesn't give me the olption of dual display. I bought the laptop just over 1yr ago so I have no warranty left - anyone have any ideas - any and all suggestions welcome. |
