| x64 | Graphics card wiring Hi Folks, I have a Gateway LX-6810 with Intel (R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33 GHZ, 8GB RAM and NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 graphics card. While installing wireless card, the wires from the graphics card came off the pins on the mobo. There are 2 separate wires from the card (Ground and SPDF) and 3 pins on the mobo. I can't find the correct configuration to ensure proper installation. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you, Brad |

| Windows 7 x64 | Re: Graphics card wiring You should have an onboard audio header located next to/near to your PCI-E slot. If you use onboard sound and have a front panel audio output, then a cable will already be plugged in to this. Next to this header you should have the SPDIF connector that you plug this cable in to. |

| x64 | Re: Graphics card wiring I appreciate your quick response. I'm an idiot when it comes to this stuff, so forgive me. The video card has two wires that are sleeved and plug into two of three existing pins. One of the wires is marked GND and one is marked SPDIF. I know they became disconnected from these pins. I have two wires and three pins....I don't know which pins they connect to, because the MOBO is not clearly marked (ie, GND, SPDIF). I will open the case again to see what markings they DO have, but I'm still unsure of the configuration. Thanks again. |

| Windows 7 x64 | Re: Graphics card wiring This thread on the EVGA boards might help you find the connector for it, it also has a diagram about which pin connects to what, which should be a universal thing. http://www.evga.com/forums/tm.asp?m=337819&mpage=1&key=& |
