Trouble With XFX ATI Radeon HD 4350 512MB

Ok, I recently just built a system for my mother. It's using:
MSI K9N Neo v2
AMD Sempron 1.8GHz
1GB Generic DDR2 667Mhz

Now i've installed Vista Home Premium 32-bit onto the system, but it will not detect the graphics card at all. Although i have got a display (Motherboard does not have on-board).
I've tried using the driver disk supplied with the card, but it always tells me to go to the XFXForce website, so i do and download their drivers and install but CCC does not appear to get installed. I've tried the card in another Vista 32-bit System and it gets found and drivers install nicely and the card works fine. Is there anything wrong that i'm doing??

The other system runs:
ASUS M3A-H
AMD Athlon 64 2.9Ghz Dual Core
2GB OCZ Platinum DDR2 800Mhz

On the target system i also installed SP1 and still it made no diffence.

Any Suggestions?

Update.

I Rooted around the CD, Found the driver and installed it. Still to no avail.
When I Look on 'Device Manager' I have no listing for 'Display Adapters'.
This I'm assuming is not a good thing to be having. Anything to suggest
on that front?

Regarding the drivers I have repeatedly un-installed them and tried installing
them again (Also removing registry values). CCC Just does not seem to be installing alongside everything else. It install 'Hydravision' and the CCCinstaller with the driver package, then the CCCinstaller says it installs CCC and Avivo. But im only left with Avivo.
ANNOYYYING!!! :-(

they are usually the ones that will work the best if they don't then chances are its not a driver problem but a problem with the other hardware/software

Ok, ive tried the drivers. Still no luck. Vista is just not acknowledging the card is there. It does not show up in device manager. I have 4 PCI-E Standard root ports that arent working properly due to insufficient resources. i tried disabling the on-board sound but it only freed 2 of them, but then after a reboot all 4 went again. There is a Winpower 450w PSU. the card doesnt require additional power (Through special PCI-E Cable) and i would of thought that would of been enough to power the comp (there is only 1 HDD and CD Drive. and another PCI card in there. Only the CPU fan to power. Could it be the power supply?

But my other PC that i tried the card in (to make sure it was not the card that had the problem) has an x-power 400w and thats powering an Artic Cooling CPU Fan, AKaksa case fan. 1 SAta HDD, 2 IDE HDD 1 SAta DVD Drive.

Hello crevitz,
Just a thought, it may be way off but you never know, have you checked the Bios to see what is the primary display adapter ?, i was going to say reseat the card but if you tried it on another computer then that kinda takes care of that, as for the drivers i always go to the ATI site for my drivers, drivers on disks tend to be out of date by the time you get them, also it might be worth checking to see if you have the latest bios, let us know how you get on, good luck.

Yep, it was a shot in the dark, i think if i was him i would boot in safe mode clean out the drivers, use driver cleaner/sweeper and reinstall a fresh set of drivers downloaded from ATI, if nothing else we would know the drivers are clean, what do you think ?. just seems odd that the card is not being picked up by the OS.

I'm reinstalling Windows. The Graphics Card seems to be seated fine in the mobo; Screwed in and secure. I looked around the bios for anything that may be stopping the PCI-E port in any way and didnt find anything obvious to me.

I looked on MSI's website and they have no Bios download links for my Motherboard (Just shows a blank mid-section):

MSI K9N Neo V2

Well, It ended up being as simple as re-installing Vista. I Made it the first thing i did to install the display drivers i downloaded form the AMD Website. and they worked and i have now got The graphics at full potential and with pretty Aeroglass :p.

But it still doesnt really explain why it wasnt working in the first place. The install seemed to go without a hitch. But i dunno lol. Thank You Pizzaman and Stoneys_Nutz for taking the time to ponder over it.

THANK YOU!

Cant leave this out, but I once had a problem like this, turned out to be a faulty card.
If the reinstall doesn't work, You should RMA the card if you can.
