| Newbie | Laptop VGA to S Video on TV I am trying to connect my Laptop to my LCD magnavox screen. I bought a VGA to S-Video converter, and a dual male S-Video cable, to connect to my TV's S video in port. Any solutions on why it isn't working? |

| Master | Re: Laptop VGA to S Video on TV Make sure your laptop is set to send a signal to the tv. Some laptops have a setting to use external displays, some laptops do it automatically. Evidently yours is the former. |

| Member | Re: Laptop VGA to S Video on TV must make sure that the s video is 4/6 pin on each side of connector and tv is same. In other words if connector is 4 pin then tv has to be 4pin also and vice-versa if it is a 6 pin. I have a similiar tv and I have it hook up as below:http://www.aitech.com/products/webcable.htm |
