Vista - Standard VGA Card

Hi,

I am having problems with my graphics card. I bought a Nvidia 9500GT. As soon as I turned on my computer it installed by itself. I uninstalled it and then when I rebooted the pc it began to reinstall by itself and won't let me stop it. I downloaded the Nvidia download and says "no compatible hardware"...

Any help is appreciated.

Hello fifalgerian,
Take a look in device manager and see what is listed under Display adapters, is there a yellow question mark ?.

Vista will have the drivers for the card...just be sure once it installs to go through windows updates (custom install) and check for new drivers. I have often found that using the manufacturers drivers for Vista x64 hardware can be troublesome. Vista includes the drivers for most common hardware items.

Well as u have written u have windows vista x64 it seems ur downloaded driver is not compatible with vista x64.
