i have a spare hd raedon 3450, because i bought 2 thinking to run in crossfire, didnt work, so i decided to let a friend have it, he has a 400watt psu, i think it works, but im just not not sure, i think i have a 400 watt psu too, idk, doesnt say in the manuel.

and it was foolish to throw away the box in it, i was kinda happy that day..

Re: hd raedon 3450

The HD 3000 series wasnt one of ATI/AMD's best series, in fact almost the worst.

That card, the HD 3450, reported a framerate of 11 fps at 1152x864 in FEAR.

A slide-show experience if you ask me. It's basically equivalent to my 8400 GS that i told you about, kiddie. Maybe even worse.

For WoW's new updated engine (since update 3.0/lich king), a 3450 is below the minimum spec for it. They increased the draw distance and all the textures within that game as well. (my 3 9800 GTX+'s took a performance hit of 20 fps dropping down to 40 fps. when you think of WoW, you think of smooth and easy playability.
and this was with 1920 x 1200 and everything max with 16xQ AA (custom) )

I'd just pick up a new card if anything else.

Re: hd raedon 3450

well..... i disagree that it was there worst series........ my 3650 would run the game on high settings at 40+ fps and i havn't even tried my 3870..... i'm guess i could do at least 60+ fps with high settings

uh oh!!!

FLAME WARSSSS

jk

fine, i'll take your opinion, that it sucks, i looked at the specs, everything good excep for the memory bandwidth, it kinda slow, my next choice was the ATI Radeon HD 4350,
it a bit more expensive, but i think it like 20% better??

also MDA400 how much was your rig?? you got a picture?
