gma dynamic video

hi all i gave a gateway MD7818U laptop and on the website it says that i can have 1 gb o f dynamic video memory http://www.gateway.com/systems/product/529668228.php but i can not find out how to change this from 128 mb to some thing higher....i have gone into the bios and it shows me how much vmemory i am using but does not let me change it

well looking at that pick you do have over 1.5 gigs of video memory avail.

what does vista say under SYSTEM in control panel?

Your Intel graphics card will automatically use more memory if it needs for games, dynamically. However, its unlikely you'll be playing many games with that chipset.

okay so is there any way to adjust for normal tasks or will i just have to deal because for some reason i get an occasional lag on youtube when the pink bar is far ahead of where am

buy yourself a cheap graphics card, under 80 US will do, alternatively update your bios and drivers for your motherboard, this should do the trick

to respond to alexdagar8tst i have a laptop....wats ur guys opinion on upgradeing laptop graphics cards? or extrnal ones and can my laptops's graphics card even be upgraded?
