| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Weird Colors Present At Restart My friend has a Samsung computer with Windows Vista Home Premium installed. He/she bought it one year ago, around May 2008. For a normal Vista system, whenever a computer is turned on, it should display the progress bar with the "Copyright (C) Microsoft etc.". However, it now shows different stuff each time it's turned on. Just moments ago, instead of the progress bar, it displayed a black screen with a white line down the center. This isn't affecting the computer at all, but I was just worried that it was a virus or something. Any help will be appreciated, thank you. |

| Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Its either the graphics card or the monitor. Since my former Samsung LCD broke after 4 hours, I'm leaning to the monitor. Can you plug a different screen into it first. If the screen works its not the gpu. If not, boot into safe mode, uinstall your current gpu drivers, reboot back into Safe Mode and then reinstall new updated drivers for your gpu. |
