| Vista Basic 32bit | Graphics card removal Ok, I know that some graphics cant be removed if they are integrated, but most of the cards I have seen don't specify whether they can be changed. Can the Intel GMA 4500 be changed? (any model of it e.g. 4500, 4500MHD) Can the Ati Radeon HD 3200 be changed? Thanks for any help in advance |

| Vista x64 Ultimate SP2, Windows 7 Ultimate x64 | Re: Graphics card removal Hello Will, As far as I know, you cannot change the integrated graphics chip. For a desktop, you can only disable it in the BIOS and add a graphics card of your choice to replace it with. There's nothing you can do for a laptop though. ![]() Hope this helps, Shawn |

| Vista Basic 32bit | Re: Graphics card removal Thank for the post guys, you being really helpful ![]() Ok, Well first of all - It needs to be a laptop... I just cannot fit a desktop anywhere in my house where it will be easily accessible at all times. Trust me... I need to have it ready at all times ![]() Hope someone can recommend a laptop :-) Btw, If someone can find a decent laptop with everything I want but the graphics card, then find out if its possible to disable the graphics card and replace it with a newer one (limit of £100 cost) into the laptop, (it must fit lol) Then that would be GREATLY appreciated. |
