Vista - red line visible near vista gadget??

since few days i have been seeing a straight line visible near the gadget column..
and whn i open explorer or internet explorer, tht line is visible,

does anyone have solution to gt rid of the line??

The image is clearer, but I'm sorry I still can't see it. Can you indicate exactly where it is, and perhaps use a different desktop background to help it show up better?

i just took the shot with camera, there is line on the display??

is it because or ram or graphic cards??
do i have to get it replaced??

Ahh, now I see it. Does it disappear when you close the sidebar? I'm wondering, since there was no evidence of a line like that in the previous image, whether it is a defect in your monitor.

it has been been 3/4 days since im seeing this line...
i have closed the side bar too and it is still visible,

i guess there is something wrong with the screen??
getting this for 1st time..
the line is visible during the shutdown and when i switch it on too...

Looks like it's the monitor, then. That would explain why I couldn't see the line on your images (apart from the one that you captured with your camera).

so its the fault of ram or video card?
should i have to take the service center...

I don't think that it's your RAM (you would have been getting unexplained errors and BSODs with that). Of course, it doesn't mean that the graphics card isn't the cause of the problem. Try a known good monitor to check, or alternatively try your monitor on another system. If your monitor doesn't have this line when connected to another system or if a known good monitor displays the line when connected to your system, then it would indicate a problem with your graphics card.
