use resolution not suported by hardware

Hi
I'm looking for a way to make Internet Eplorer run under much higher resolution than my monitor supports
or to fake it when reporting its resolution to a web-based application. You see, the monitor on my desktop PC supports a max resolution of only 1920×1080 but I need to make that web-based applictation think its running under 8192x6144. Increasing dpi won't help in this case.
I am trying to print the picture with text -a map with some numbers- into a file from that server, but it will only print what is displayed in Internet Explorer window without panning/scrolling (the website print buton only supports printing current window). Thus I would be able to print the entire map into a single file (a very efficient solution), unlike now where it would take some 20 files which I would have a very hard time putting together into a single one.
Thanks alot
Jon K.

Does the web-based application let you save the map as a bmp or png ? You could then use Irfanview to print it.
