nTtune (Fine Tuning) problem

Hey all i recently downloaded nTune, as i heard about a feature that would allow me to "Fine Tune," (Under Advance Settings in the Nvida CP > Performance > Tune System ) my computer to give it better performance, which is a good thing as i don't know how to OC or "Tune" my computer myself. Also being a dell i thought that Ntune could possibly go around some of the lock features e.g OC the CPU.

However, waiting three hours for it to "Tune," i had no luck nothing had been changed or tuned?

Could it be that it is a Dell therefore many of the features normally open are locked or that i need a Nvidia motherboard?

here are my PC Specs if that helps, thank you

Also here is an additional screenie

Re: nTtune (Fine Tuning) problem

you need a mobo with an NVidia chipset , all NTune is doing there is trying to oc your GPU , your better off doing it yourself but its not worth overclocking an 8800GT without volt modding it too cos all you'll end up with is a hotter gpu and 2 frames per second increase , the GT chip is pretty much strectched to its limit by the board manufacturers anyway

If your going to verclock your cpu/ram NEVER let any third party software do it for you no matter who its from , you have to learn how to do it and do it yorself mate then you know your safe

Dont leave your expensive hardware in the hands of somebody else
