Hello,
My sister claims that one day when she booted up her (Vista Home Premium 32 bit) computer, the screen resolution was screwed up (1024x758 is now the maximum possible, as compared to 1680x1050 before). I've had a look at it and can't see anything obviously wrong. I updated the video card drivers. The nVidia control panel also says that 1024 is the maximum.
I tried setting it in the display panel so that all resolutions will be displayed, rather than just what my monitor 'supports', but that still has a max of 1024. nVidia Control panel is having the same problem.
Specs are: 8800gts, Q6600, Acer 22" WS, 4gb ram.
I have no idea what could be wrong, could you please help?
