Endless Graphics Problems

Well, I booted one day, played a game. Got a freeze. Rebooted.

Then I just got the green loading bar, and a black screen.

I tried again and again, to no avail. I then tried safe mode, that was fine, so i googled it in safe mode to find it to be a graphics card/driver issue. I uninstalled the graphics drivers and reinstalled windows. Everything. EVENTUALLY it would boot normally.

Today, I log on, and after reinstalling EVERYTHING, I get 'Out of range'.

I have one resolution with the base drivers 800x600 and it was FINE yesterday.

Argh. Plus every time i install nvidia drivers I jsut the black screen of doom.

currently in safe mode.

RARGH.

Re: Endless Graphics Problems

Sounds like you might have a virus or something.Since you are on 32 bit Vista there are lots of free tools to remove trojans, viruses, rootkits etc.
I would try a couple and if that doesn't fix it try Kaspersky online scanner or a trial version.Hope this helps.
