CrossfireX

Hey, well i plan on upgrading my graphics card on my custom built PC, i currently have a ATI HD4830 and i dont kow wether i should get CrossfireX with a 4850/4870 or just buy a single 4890, i need some advice.

hm.... what is your budget?..... because if you have enough... i'd just go get a single HD5870

5800's?! i didnt realise they existed! well my budget cant stretch to £300 so i think im going to stay in the 4800's. i dont need any more advice guys, i think im just going to get a 4890, less hassle then using multiple GPU's

aw.... ok haha.... but... just look and the HD5870 and behold its beauty i think acutally they are only about.... £275 or so... i know they are $380... depending on what you could find one for haha...
oh just so you know... the 5870 is as fast as the gtx 295......... except the 5870 is a single core.... its twice as fast as the 4890 and faster than a 4870X2

haha..... yes it is... and its not that expensive.... i'd say sell your 4830 and get a 5870

How much do you expect me to get for a graphics card that is 8 months old, second hand, and outdating? xD
i already made up my mind, im going to stick with my stuff i got at the moment, and just completely rebuild my PC at christmas
looking to get a

  • gigabyte GA-MA785GT-UD3H AM3
  • PHENOM II X2 550 BLACK EDITION 3.1GHZ (will unlock to quad :P)
  • and then crossfireX with my current 4830 and a XFX HD4870
