will this gpu put crossfired be better than a hd5870?

2 4870x2's in crossfire would beat the Fck out of a 5870....i think

nope its slower a 5870 is faster than two 4890's crossfired, two 4870X2's in crossfire might be faster though

dont worry mate..... its a pretty easy mistake to make

yea..... haha thats what i was saying but its ok also.... for the mobo you picked you will have to have ddr3 not ddr2... unless you change your mobo you will have to get something like this

also...... idk how reliable that psu will be becuase thats way cheap for 800 watts... you'd be much better off getting a more expensive corsair, thermaltake, or ocz psu

i think that all looks good :D except..... now your mobo doesn't support crossfire..... :huh: so.... you could try a single 5870 or a different mobo but other than that everything looks good

i am keeping the mobo and getting those sticks pizzaman.
bit heavy on the price, so i have gone back to the novatech 800 watt. the reviews say it is quite reliable powering the high end systems with £200 mobo's core i7's and hd 5800's, and has not given up on them yet.
