| Vista Home Premium 32bit [x86] - SP2 | Which type of nVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 [OEM] do I have installed? ...see My System Specs - Because I understand very little of the nuances of Graphic Cards, I can't for the life of me figure out which type [SE/LE/GS/GT] of the GeForce Go 7300 Series, I actually have installed in my system. I'm thinking that because the card was installed OEM, the individual identification types, do not actually apply to my system setup. The information tags that I have on the Laptop give the following details; " Graphics by nVIDIA GeFORCE Go 7300 - 128MB", and "Up to 384MB nVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 TurboCache". Belarc Advisor analysis just comes up with; "nVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 [Display Adapter]. |

Hi Tony, download GPU-Z:techPowerUp! :: Download TechPowerUp GPU-Z v0.3.6 And compare the specs (Texture fill rate, Pixel Fill Rate etc) to these: GeForce 7 Series - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia This is why I just love this Vista Forum.....another day and yet more learned of my setup. And for the second time in two days, a Forum Member has handed me the tools to investigate and explore it for myself. What a great tool this one is. From what I see here..........., ![]() ...........and in comparing what I have to the details at the Wikipedia link, it would seem that the Graphics Card [OEM] installed in my system bears none of the individual specification hallmarks of the different types [SE/LE/GS/GT] of GeForce Go 7300 series mentioned in the article, and would thus appear to be a stand-alone generic graphic card, produced to specification for Acer. Having said that, it does seem to stack up quite well against the rest of the 7300 Series family, and that leaves me happy in the knowledge that it suits me quite fine, thank-you. Your thoughts, bearing in mind that I am not a gamer freak |
