ATI Radeon 4350 dual display

I currently have the above named graphics card sitting nicely in my desktop connected to my tele through a dvi connection,
i have been having problems to get a picture (be it a clone or dual display) to be shown on the monitor i have recently connected on the vga port, as well as the tv at the same time.
the start up sequence does show on both monitors, yet the monitor goes blank at the desktop, and my tv takesd over from there. any suggestions on how to get a picture on both would be appreciated.
i dont want to have to get a new graphics card, however, if anyone has a suggestion on a dual dvi grpahics card which would clone the display on both screens would be fantastic and i would look in it.

meaning, at one time you were able to have both running at the same time with no problems? if that is the case, what have you done to your configuration since it last worked? if that is not the case, do you have the latest catalyst drivers for your card?

I took your advice and downloaded the latest catalyst drivers released 17122009. This solved my problem.
