updated everything
let windows repair it-self
did a system restore to a earlier date but the only one i had was from 4 days before i noticed the problem(so not very useful

problem solved

we just had a cutoff of power so my laptop had to verify stuff and i plugged in my battery. and guess what, when finally booted in windows i saw that the screen flickered once for checking all the monitors. and there it was in my screen settings! laptop screen returned.

i don't know what was wrong or if the battery had any effect in this play.

but problem solved!!!!!!

Hi its me again with the exact same problem.
but this time i think i know why it happens.

so sometimes when i really need to work with multiple screens i plug in an extra monitor. trough vga, which means it has 3 screen technically connected to it. Not that you actually use 3. only 2 infact

then i "lose" my laptop screen, anyways my stupid trick from before works. i unplug it on per pus and guess what i restart vista and when its completely booted up it switches back to my laptop. now what i like to know is, is there a less ridiculous way to fix this.
