    Grey?

This morning I logged onto my computer and all of a sudden everything went grey... like it still works fine just the colour of everything on the screen is.. grey.
could this be the video card? the card in my pc is a NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS

    Any help would be great.

It could be your graphics card but I would also try restarting your computer.
If that doesn't work restart it in safe mode.
I hope this works for you and wish you luck.

    Hi,

The first thing to try would be to update your graphics card drivers. Here are the latest drivers for your card: NVIDIA DRIVERS 196.21 WHQL

I would also check all connections, and run a virus scan using the free Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Is this a definite grey colour, or is it that the screen is very dark, and therefore seems to be tinted grey?

    DIGITAL VIBRANCE..
Right-click Desktop and go to Nvidia Control Panel. Display/Desktop Settings near the middle, and once in there make sure Digital Vibrance is at 50%.. It it is at 0% your desktop may be Grey.
