Go to the manufacturers site and download, Sound drivers
, Video drivers, and most importantly download and install your chipset drivers.
Very often, the only place to get the drivers is from the manufacturers site.
Run this free app, boot into safe mode and run this app, it will get rid of any remnants of any old drivers.
Reboot and install new driver

Go to Device Manager and see if there are any yellow triangles next to anything.
Also, go to the Event Log and check for errors there.
