Solved Graphics Problems after OS Reinstallation

So I'm running a Dell Studio XPS 1640
16" LED Display
Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 2.4GHz
4 Gb DDR3 RAM
Supposedly ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670
with 512 Mb dedicated DDR3
500 Gb HDD

Anyways. After Weeks of struggles with the BSoD, I decided to just reinstall Vista with the disc and start from scratch. Packed my photos, music, a few programs that I no longer had data discs for, and a few games onto my external hard drive and ran the disc. After reinstallation I noticed my screen looking, well, ugly. Resolution now maxes out at 1152 x 864. Attached is a screen cap of my device manager after the reinstallation. It lists only audio things under "Audio, Video & Game Controllers" and the only thing under Display is a broken Standard VGA Graphics Adapter.

I've tried reinstalling drivers from the disc, from Dell's website, and even from ATI's website, but I'm still stuck with this unappealing display. What should I do?

I can't even run games, as I receive an error message telling me no suitable graphics device could be found before the game shuts itself down. My laptop receives a "Dell Experience Index" rating of a miserable 1 right now.

Oh, side-note: My keyboard used to be backlit, but is no longer, making my customary but somewhat cliche dark room with no lights but the screen scenario difficult.

Solved the problem myself. Downloaded Driver Sweeper. Ran it in safe mode. Cleaned out all my ATI files. Reboot. Download the ATI Catalyst Suite package. Reinstalled drivers. Reboot. All's well.
