Dead GPU fix is this possible ????

I have a hp laptop and gpu dont work so I am wondering if I get an external gpu will that fix it ??????

And yes, using a usb external should work.

Well hp laptops overheat and the gpu will stop working on the motherboard so I went in safemode then in devicemananger and dissabled it

I really don't know, might look into one of these:

Have you crackedit open, cleaned and re-pasted the heatsinks?
